Mevix — Optical measuring system
The optical measuring systems are designed for test rigs and test centres, applications in industrial production and quality control, in civil engineering and for academic purposes.
Measurement methodology allows for the measurement of large strain rates, high-speed testing, vibration measurement, FEA analysis, crack propagation, dynamic testing, and quality control.
The system is designed for examining metal parts, wires, and foils, ligneous specimen and composites, various fabrics and nanofibrous structures, elastomers and tissues, plastic specimen and biomaterials, cords and ropes, construction and ceramic materials.

Accuracy Class 0,5 µm.
Maximum Specimen Size 100 mm; L0 > 8 mm.
MEVIX 200
Accuracy Class 0,5 µm.

MEVIX 400
Accuracy Class 1,0 µm.

MEVIX 3D
This system enables the use of two MEVIX modules as a 3D DIC system with all its specific benefits.
Software
Mercury RT is a proprietary software developed by Sobriety. The modularity of the software system offers customized functionality and ensures that you only pay for what you use.
RT
Basic stand-alone module.
On-line data recording a visual data representation for their easier interpretation.
Enables the use of the system as a video extensometer.
Offers the simplified GUI mode LITEView for use in industrial operations.
ENTER
Basic stand-alone module.
An essential tool for post-processing of visual data, simultaneously from multiple cameras.
It enables data analysis of large-scale measurements such as high-speed camera testing.
PLUS
Additional module requiring the RT or ENTER modules.
Simultaneous support for multiple cameras.
Extended range of measuring tools for more comprehensive functionality.
3D VIDEO
Additional module requiring the RT or ENTER modules. Module for stereoscopic functionality.
With this module, the deformation in the previously unknown plane of measurement can be recorded.
FULLFIELD (DIC)
Measurement in 2D requires the ENTER module, 3D measurement requires the ENTER and 3D VIDEO modules.
Monitoring of the required deformation parameter in a continuous measurement area.
Maximize measurement predictability and visual representation of the field of deformation.
VIBROGRAPHY (FFT)
